The kingdom of Morocco has a dynamic economy, where mining is a vital activity, contributing with 30% of the national income and employing more than 116,600 persons. This sector has undergone important reforms in order to free the activity and privatizing certain companies. Also, Morocco has 75% of the world’s phosphate reserves; it is the first exporter and third producer, only behind US and Russia. Other important minerals are coal, iron, manganese, zinc and lead.
Fishing is also an important economic activity, with 15% of the exports. Commercial opportunities are related to the country’s needs, especially in industry and services sectors.
