The kingdom of Bahrain has a population of 1,281,332 habitants, and an annual growth rate of 3%. Bahrain’s population is a highly educated one with an annual income of 40,300 dollars. It represents the most open economy in the region and heavily depends on the oil industry. Surpluses in the last years, caused by high oil prices, have result in a bigger public spending, as well as in the creation of more fixed capital and a larger public and private demand. Most demanded products are building materials and clothing.
Bahrain is always searching for foreign capital in order to invest in the technology and financial sectors. Investments focused in high tech, job creation and professional capacitation, are the priority.
